Systel Breaks Ground on Second Building at Sugar Land Headquarters

Twenty-three years ago, Systel broke ground on our Sugar Land headquarters with a team of 27. This week, we broke ground again. With a team now more than 100 strong, and with the same shovel from 2003, we gathered on-site to mark the start of construction on a second building at our Sugar Land HQ. The expansion will increase our manufacturing capacity and throughput, and testing and R&D capabilities, positioning Systel to meet growing demand from our customers in support of national security priorities and growth in AI and autonomous sectors. Since 1988, Systel has designed and built ruggedized computing systems for defense and industrial mission-critical applications in harsh environments. This expansion is a direct investment in furthering our mission to protect those who protect us with rugged and reliable products and unmatched customer support. We're proud of what this team has built, and we're excited for what comes next!

Mayor McCutcheon and City Council Site Visit

We had the honor of welcoming Mayor Carol McCutcheon and the Sugar Land City Council to Systel headquarters. Sugar Land has been home to Systel since 2003. Our roots are tied to this community and it's where we intend to keep growing. We shared our story, our products, and our vision for the future. More than anything, we were proud to show Sugar Land city leadership how we help protect those who protect us. And in a moment we won't forget, Mayor McCutcheon and the council signed our site expansion plans, a ceremonial nod to what's next for Systel as we commit to more jobs and increased capabilities in delivering mission-critical rugged computer systems to support the warfighter.
