Systel Achieves CMMC Level 2 Certification

Systel is proud to announce that we have achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Level 2. This significant milestone demonstrates Systel’s commitment to protecting sensitive information and meeting the rigorous cybersecurity expectations of the U.S. Department of Defense.

What CMMC Level 2 Means

The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification program establishes cybersecurity requirements for companies that handle sensitive information associated with Department of Defense programs.

CMMC Level 2 focuses on protecting Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Certification requires organizations to implement and demonstrate a set of cybersecurity practices designed to protect this information from unauthorized access, disclosure and cyber threats.

Systel’s certification followed an extremely detailed assessment of the security practices, policies and procedures.

This accomplishment reflects both the quality of our cybersecurity program and the dedication of the people responsible for maintaining it.
