- Gray Wolf 2 delivers the performance of a 4U rackmount server in a high-density, compact 2U form factor.
- It is ideal for mission-critical applications when optimum performance is essential, but space is at a premium.
- The product incorporates a dual GPU and CPU configuration alongside best-in-class compute capabilities.
Washington, D.C., USA – 11 October 2024: Systel, an industry leader in rugged computing, is pleased to introduce Gray Wolf 2, a high-density, high-performance rugged compute solution at the 2024 AUSA Annual Meeting and Exposition.
Gray Wolf 2 provides immense data center 4U performance in a compact and rugged 2U chassis and is purpose-built for intensive mission-critical data processing and analytics applications.
Gray Wolf 2 is configured with dual latest generation Intel Scalable Xeon CPUs and dual NVIDIA data center GPUs with NVLink for maximum throughput with minimal latency. It features robust IO, expansion, and storage capabilities as well as 110VAC or 28VDC power options.
Gray Wolf 2 is MIL-SPEC rugged and offers superior performance for demanding workloads in artificial intelligence (AI), signals intelligence (SIGINT), electronic warfare (EW) and cyber warfare (CW) applications when high performance is required in austere environments.
Gray Wolf 2 is engineered using a modular open systems approach (MOSA), utilizing open architectures and commercial-off-the-shelf technologies, and is the optimal choice for mission-critical defense and commercial applications where performance is essential and space is at a premium.
Brian Russell, vice-president of product at Systel, says: “The ability to deliver so much performance in a form factor that is typically only capable of delivering half the power is a testament to Systel’s engineering expertise and continual investment in R&D and innovation. We have listened to our customers and have worked hard to deliver this performance in a smaller form factor. We are excited about the journey our rackmount server product line is taking and look forward to bringing more disruptive capabilities to the market in due course.”
AUSA Annual is being held from 14-16 October 2024 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. For more information on the Gray Wolf 2, or on any of our other rugged computing solutions, visit us at Booth #1015 or get in contact with the team using the details below.
